This is truly a wonderful album and the unusual thing is it sounds more American / Canadian than it does Swedish. Those eighties influences have definitely made an indelible mark with these two talented guys as they have made an album which is very much worth talking about. Strong melodies, catchy riffs and a plethora of keyboards. Just check out “Bring me in” the album opener, a classic start with haunting vocals, strutting guitars and a grand wall of keyboards. The chorus is instant and crescendo’s into a majestic masterpiece. The title track itself smacks of Journey mixed with Survivor and there are many other eighties vibes along the way. “I Can’t believe” is worthy of special mention, with its huge choruses and melodic rhythms.
